Sandeman Cask 33

Sandeman's Cask 33 is a unique pipe, untouched for decades and was re-discovered by Sogrape's head winemaker Luis Sottomayor just in time for the company's 225. birthday. The overall quantity of this very special old Tawny will consist of just some 685 bottles.

Unlike other prestigious Tanwy Ports, Sandeman does not try to achieve points with just massive power and concentration, but aims for finesse: Transparent red in colour with a remarkably deep colour core. Elegant fresh-fruity bouquet, very balanced with some tobacco in the background. Complex Palate with milk-chocolate, seducive spicy notes and perfectly integrated acidity. Fascinatingly long in the aftertaste. 18
